When Brad contacted us back in the early part of 1999, he had clear ideas of what he was looking for. He wanted a "Series" Land Rover to compliment the Discovery that he already owned, it needed to be old enough (15 years old) to be imported into Canada without any problems, but he wanted something eye-catching and "Different". So why deal with a company thousands of miles away in the UK ? ? - lets ask Brad . . .
"To start with, I was interested in getting a series Land Rover. Having gone through the books etc, it became apparent that to get a good Land Rover, one would have to look at Great Britain. Also as I have little expertise but some knowledge about restorations, I felt it better to leave it to the experts. I probably could have done it in time on my own, but the logistics, problems and costs (especially shipping) would be extremely UN-economic. It's not like I could run down to the local dealer every time I needed a part. Plus what would have happened if the original "donor" vehicle had been a bad choice. With all these and other potential problem considered, I felt it best to, as I said before, go to the experts. This is where I felt your website and email communications a great benefit. I saw what I liked and communicating was easy quick and cost effective."
So, between us, we juggled around ideas, possibilities, wish lists etc, and came up with the magnificent vehicle you see above. We are often asked "what do we do when we refurbish the Land Rovers ?" - Well each one is a little different, after all we are building the customers dream Land Rover - not ours !
So we take the customers requirements, blend them into our own refurbishment process, and produce a vehicle that will be just a little different to any other. Follow the link below to see the various stages of the refurbishment that went in to producing Brad's Land Rover.
