Another Week – Another Lightweight
Today’s new arrival is this 1971 Land Rover Series IIA Lightweight.
Getting quite rare and difficult to find – The Series IIA Lightweight can be distinguished by the “lights in the grill” and the narrow edge to the front wings, which have just the sidelights and indicators mounted on them.
This example was built January 1971 and dispatched February 1971.
It’s military number was 26 RN 88 – Denoting a Royal Navy vehicle.
