Today, Nigel and his son Ewan popped in from Holmfirth to see us.

Nigel has been on the lookout for a couple of years now, for a Land Rover that he and Ewan can work on together.

He didn’t want to take on a complete ground up restoration, and equally did not want a fully restored Land Rover – with nothing to do.

He had seen “PMB” on our web site, and thought it might fit the bill.

Having had only 2 owners from new, and retaining all it’s original and rare “Elephant Hide” interior, along with a lot of previous history – It will be quite an unusual Land Rover when finished.

It is currently under preparation with us and when finished, we will have done all the “hard work” (fitting a new 1/2 chassis for example) – but will still have scope for improvement along the way.

This fits in perfectly for what Nigel was looking for – A Land Rover to “Use and improve” as they go.
