As some of you might have already heard in the media, at approximately 5 am on Monday morning we suffered a fire – It took place outside the main Buildings underneath the car port .
Luckily the fire was brought under control quickly by two fire crews from Huddersfield Fire Station – before it could spread to the main showroom and workshops, but unfortunately not before it destroyed a number of our classic Land Rover rebuilds.
The clear fibreglass roof of the car port caught fire and fell through onto the Land Rovers Below.
As you can see from the pictures, 4 Land Rovers were totally destroyed, 1 is probably uneconomical to repair, and another has some paint damage.
Please be assured that we are fully open, and it is business as usual – these Land Rovers cannot just be replaced over night but be assured we are working 24 7 to that end.
