This evening, we are proud to be able to report that Land Rover Centre and Silverstone auctions achieved what we believe to be a World Record price for a classic 2 door Range Rover, when our Range Rover Chassis No 1 came under the hammer at the prestigious Salon Privé Auction in London.
Final sale price £132,000 !!!
YVB 151H has been on display in our showroom for nearly a quarter of a century, and it has been a pleasure to look out of the office window and see it there, plus occasionally being lucky enough to take it for a drive when it has been out for various photo shoots.
Our founder Peter Garside recently made the decision that it was time to “pass the mantel” of ownership of Range Rover Chassis No 1 to a new custodian – We hope that it gives the new owner as much pleasure and enjoyment as it has given to us over the years.
