NWR 870A - Series II - Left Hand Drive - 109" 1964 2375 miles from new ! This is a time warp / show vehicle Tax Exempt 2286cc 4cyl Petrol 23,000 miles ?? - NO 2,375 miles from new This original LHD Series II was one of a fleet of 6 x 109" Land Rovers owned by Central Garage Goteborg, Sweden. This particular one was the garage owners pride and joy, and was used extremely sparingly, to the point that when it was put into storage in 1992 following the sale of the business, it had covered only 1700km (1061 miles !) Purchased in 2006 by a collector in Finland, it was then recommissioned and used very occasionally, so that at the grand old age of 45, it has only 3800km (2,375 miles) on the clock. Central Garage was an organisation (akin to our AA or RAC) with offices in major cities and a fleet of breakdown / recovery trucks, all radio controlled with uniformed drivers. Below is a link to the history of Central Garage - and although it is written in Swedish, there are some interesting pictures and it gives quite an insight into their set up. It is hard to believe, but this Land Rover drives like new. The steering, brakes and gears function exactly as they should. As with all vehicles in their fleet, this vehicle (originally Mid grey) was painted in their livery (Red and Yellow) and kitted out with 2 way radio, Red beacon and roof mounted spot lamp. As you would expect, this Land Rover retains all of it's original features such as original (not reproduction) elephant hide seats, elephant hide door trims (with pockets) and it even has the original elephant hide sleeves on the tailgate chain. The deluxe cab also has the roof lining and panels fitted (another rare feature), and tinted perspex sun visors. The cabin is in "as new" original condition, the rear load area has been protected and is also as near to perfect as you could expect, and has a custom built canopy. The choice would be to keep the Land Rover in its "Central Garage" livery - along with it's history and memorabilia, (which would make for a very interesting show car) or consider returning it to how it left the production line and repaint it on the outside. I would expect any prospective custodian to discuss the possibilities and confirm the condition of this unique Land Rover. So why not give me a call for a chat - Mark Many more photographs available To be sold UK registered, fully serviced with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty. |

XAN 700N - Series III 88" 2286cc Petrol We are often asked for "project vehicles" and we speak to many customers who like the idea of "doing a rebuild" but do not have the space or perhaps the expertise to carry out a chassis or bulkhead swap. This Land Rover has had a FORTUNE spent on it (receipts included), and has a new GALVANISED chassis, and NEW BULKHEAD. If you could find a new bulkhead today, I would expect to pay nearly £1000 for that alone. The previous owner, has over many years done most of the hard work, and the restoration so far has been carried out to a very high standard. I would expect any potential owner to come and inspect the Land Rover, see the work that has been done, and see what is left to do. As you can see from the pictures, the back of the Land Rover is full of parts, to assist the new owner in completing this project. The price we are asking would not cover the cost of a £1500 donor vehicle and the parts fitted so far - let alone the hundreds of hours that have already been invested. Can be heard running So if you have some space, some time and a bit of enthusiasm - this would be a straight forward project to complete - without a lot of further financial investment required. When done, depending on the standard of workmanship put into finishing this rebuild, I would expect an equivalent example to cost £8,000 to £10,000 ! Currently a hard top, or add £500 for either:

B679 SAJ / 05 KD 43 - Series III Lightweight 1985 - Air portable 4 cyl petrol 24 volt Road tax - £185 47,000 Miles (76,000km) - 2 private owners This is one of the best lightweights we have had through our hands, and only surpassed by the Tower of London "Ceremonial" lightweights. Stated date into service March 1985, this is probably one of the last Air Portables into service. Released from Lossiemouth May 1996 This Land Rover has been used as a show vehicle by the previous owners, and as you can see is in exceptional condition, and only covered 2,500 miles in the last 12 or so years since release. Lots of paperwork, including MOD Equipment asset sheet, MOD cast form, all MOT certificates since release, and of course current V5 registration document. Finished in Olive Green, with RAF livery (including roundels), pioneer kit, front and rear NATO hitches, 05 KD 43 "show plates", camo net, and Goodyear XTRA GRIP road tyres. This Land Rover is ready to show, or practical to use as a fun weekend car. Perfect chassis and body - no rust - no damage, and drives as good as it looks. If you are looking for one of the best lightweights available, then you have probably just found it. Getting rare - don't miss out ! YCX 348K - 1971 Range Rover 2 Door Classic 3.5 V8 petrol (unleaded) TIME WARP2 Owners - 50,300 miles from new Road tax - "Historic Vehicle" - "TAX EXEMPT" - NIL Whenever we offer vehicles like this for sale, we always get asked "Where do you find them ?" - the simple answer is; "They find us !". We have a reputation for sourcing and supplying some of the rarer and more difficult to find Land Rovers and Range Rovers, and this one is a gem. The story of "YCX" began for us in 2002, when we bought the car from the original owner, when it had 44,000 miles on the clock. Supplied new by W H Atkinson & Co (Huddersfield) in Lincoln Green, the original owner decided that "GOLD" was a better colour. We had the car professionally re sprayed back to the correct colour, and carried out the necessary re-commissioning work after being stood for 7 years unused in dry storage. The car was then sold to the second owner, who has used it sparingly, covering 6,000 miles in 7 years, bringing the total distance covered by this car to 50,300 miles. As well as retaining all it's original features, it also benefits from power steering - fitted as an extra when new, and overdrive - fitted by the second owner. I rate this car as 9.5 / 10 - the back of the drivers seat has cracking on the plastic, but the rest of the seats are perfect - almost unheard of with this early trim. This car retains all its original panels, chassis, engine and drive train, all of which are in excellent condition. Every tax disc and MOT from new are also supplied with the car. I would say that this is as good as a 38 year old car gets To be sold with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty |
