Another early start for one of our buyers – this time to travel down to Stourport on Severn to collect a very original, unspoilt, low mileage 90. Although we specialise in Series Land Rovers, we are always on the look out for exceptional “Defenders”, and this fits the bill perfectly.
Another rare arrival is this 1981 Armour plated 109″ Land Rover HVPK “Piglet”. Inbound from Northern Ireland, and on it’s way to a collector in Germany.

Tuesday 6th March
A specialist business like ours, thrives on recomendation and repeat business. The sale of PGB 377P fits both those criteria.
Back in 2000, we supplied a ground up restoration to Robert for use at his ranch in Wyoming. He was so pleased with the work we had done, he had another rebuild from us in 2001 for his home in New York.
He then recommended a friend, Arthur who also bought a ground up restoration from us.
Today, we were happy to hear from Arthur again, as he was looking for a Series Land Rover for one of his friends. After considering what we had to offer, he decided to purchase “PGB”. This will be shipped to New York once we have changed the tyres for something “more rugged” and carried out our final preparation and check over.

Friday 16th March
An early morning start and a 450 mile round trip to collect an extremely rare “In Vogue” Range Rover – Complete with the elusive Picnic hamper and Cool Box.
The Range Rover “In Vogue” model, was developed with the help of Wood and Pickett. The idea was a classical one: up-specify the interior and offer a range of special colours to make it stand out from the standard models. The choice of name followed the interesting marketing plan that involved lending a car to the glamour magazine Vogue and have them use the car as a backdrop for one of their high publicity photoshoots.
Sunday 18th March
The arrival of another Range Rover Classic – This time a low mileage 1981 – 2 door in Sahara Dust. 78,000 miles in original un-restored condition.
Wednesday 21st March
Those of you who follow our “News” page on a regular basis, will remember that back in September last year, we sold a very nice 1971 Series IIA – to Derek in Saint Louis , Missouri USA.
Today, whilst on a holiday to the UK – Derek travelled up from London to visit the team at the Land Rover Centre and see where his Land Rover came from 🙂
Friday 23rd March
We are happy to travel the length and breadth of the UK to find the best Classic Land Rovers & Range Rovers, but are equally happy when we can find them to purchase locally. That was the situation today – a nice sunny afternoon drive and a round trip of just 20 miles to collect this lovely, previously restored 1964 Series IIA Truck cab.
Sunday 25th March
Here at Land Rover Centre, we receive many many phone calls and e mails every week, with offers of Land Rovers to buy. We usually only buy 1 in 20 that we are ever offered for sale. We had been speaking to Patricia, regarding her dads 1982 Land Rover Series III. It is a genuine 88″ Station Wagon, and he has owned it for over 16 years PLUS it has had a replacement Galvanised Chassis.
We decided that a trip to Wiltshire was in order, and luckily it turned out to be exactly as described. This Land Rover will undergo some further light restoration before being offered for sale.
