Saturday 7th
Although many of our Land Rovers are sold “over the phone” – it is always a pleasure to meet our customers face to face, and show them around our workshop facilities. That was the case today when Sarah and her husband visited from Surrey. They had made the trip up, specifically to find her a Land Rover, and we are very happy she has chosen GMB 303K. We will be converting it to a soft top, before she takes delivery . . .
Tuesday 10th
Our 1983 Land Rover Series III 88″ Station Wagon – GUG 870Y – has been purchased “over the phone” by Keith in Sheffield, and we look forwards to meeting him in a couple of weeks time, when he comes to visit and inspect the Land Rover.
Saturday 14th
Just arrived from America, is this Ford MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck). They are very rare to find, and even more so in the UK, and in this condition.
For those “experts” out there, this one is an M1512A – with independent suspension for better road handling. The MUTT will be MOT’d and UK registered, before being offered for sale.
Sunday 15th
When delivering our Land Rovers, this is done by our own staff, (Even on a Sunday !) so that we have the chance to carry out a proper “Hand Over”, and go through the vehicle to ensure the new owner is familiar with all the controls etc.
This was the case today, when XUF 899A was delivered to Ian in Suffolk.
Monday 16th

Today our copy of Land Rover Monthly (July 2011) dropped through the letter box.
We are often asked by the Land Rover magazines if we have a particular type of Land Rover in stock to be photographed for an upcoming article.
That was the case earlier this month when Kev Mills from Land Rover Monthly was looking for an excellent early V8 Ninety to be photographed alongside Jeremy Hortons 1988 V8 Ninety. We were happy to oblige with our excellent 1986 example C563 MHG – so Kev Mills and John Saunders made the trip up to see us a couple of weeks ago. We are also lucky to be blessed with a lot of photogenic scenery – below are a few of the pictures taken for the article.
