Back in March, Joe from Dorset came to view our selection of Series Land Rovers.
Although we had our usual 30 + top quality Land Rovers in stock – He could not find EXACTLY what he was looking for – A Mid Grey Series IIA on a galvanized chassis, with the headlamps in the grill.
So, it was decided we would take an existing Land Rover – that met all the criteria – except that it was Green !
We have spent the last few months stripping the Land Rover back down, and creating the ideal Land Rover for Joe.
Today he came to view / test drive and approve the work we have done.
In his own words, the Land Rover is “Better than expected” – and we look forwards to delivering it to Dorset for him next week.
Whilst stripping the Land Rover down, we have also carried out the following work:
- Added Parabolic Springs
- Renewed all Galvanized cappings
- swing away tailgate
- Radial tyres
- Bonnet mounted spare wheel
- Elephant hide seats
- Seat belt safety bar
- Push button start
- Navy Blue hood
- Age related number plate
