Paul from Boston recently purchased “Milly” – our low mileage 1982 Series III.
Today we were pleased to receive these pictures and the following mail:
Dear Mark
Milly arrived safe and sound in New York, and I drove her to New England (through Manhattan!) without a hitch.
It was quite the adventure – my ears are still ringing. Eight hours later we arrived home, just a short distance outside Boston.
Soon after that, came Boston’s biggest snowfall ever! We have accumulated over 130 inches, and with freezing temperatures the snow has not melted much. In many places it has been 3 or 4 feet deep, with snowdrifts the size of small houses! So Milly has definitely had an eye opening experience.
In the spring (what colour is grass?) I will take the cab off and fit the canvas roof. The children are very excited about that, and I’ll send you pictures to prove it!
Thank you for all your support as I chose this wonderful car, and then shipped it across the ocean. It has been a fun ride!
