With a few series Land Rovers heading down the road in the next few weeks, we were on the look out for some nice replacements.

This very original “survivor” Land Rover caught our eye recently, and a purchase was agreed.

Today we made the journey to Sidmouth in Devon, to meet John and complete the purchase of this unusual specification Land Rover.

1984 was the very end of production for the Series 3 Land Rover, and by this time the “County Station Wagon” had been in production for a few years and was generally far more popular with it’s cloth seats and tinted windows than the standard “Station wagon”

However – this one is the basic 7 seater station wagon, but arguably rarer than the “County” – This one is also finished in it’s original “Pastel green” – again a rare colour for this year of production.

As we say – This one is a survivor – with 67,000 miles and a large history file to support.

We will be assessing and collating the information over the coming couple of weeks before it is offered for sale.
