After a quarter of a century of ownership, our founder Peter Garside recently made the decision that it was time to “pass the mantel” of ownership of Range Rover Chassis No 1 to a new custodian.
To that end, we have been working with Silverstone Auctions to market and sell the Range Rover at their prestigious Salon Privé on Thursday 4th September.
Today, with mixed emotions Range Rover No 1 was delivered to Syon House in London.
Syon House is the London home of His Grace The 12th Duke of Northumberland and it has been in his family for over 400 years. Surrounded by 200 acres of its own parkland alongside the River Thames, it is hard to believe that Syon is barely 10 miles from central London.
