Happy independance day to all our USA visitors !!
Our workshops often have customers vehicles arrive on a breakdown truck. Today it was the turn of this 2.5 V6 Freelander. Instead, he has sold us the vehicle, and we will be disposing of it on ebay – the link is below for anyone looking for a “project”
Another new arrival is this 1972 tax exempt Series III Land Rover. Finished in Satin Green, and completely rebuilt on a galvanised chassis – with a huge history file. This will appear on our FOR SALE page shortly.

Wednesday 13th July
Although we specialise in SWB Series Land Rovers, occasionally we are lucky enough to find an exceptional 109″ Station Wagon – probably one of the rarest models to find these days. This 1963 example is in stunning original condition, having had only 3 owners from new. This will be transported to Land Rover Centre in the next week or so, and we will then be able to provide full details and assessment before offering it for sale.
Thursday 14th July

Friday 22nd July
As followers of our latest news will know – we always like to keep in touch with our customers, and are happy to receive photographs of our Land Rovers at their new homes. UCP 170X is a 1981 Series III County soft top that Mark purchased from us in 2009. He has since driven it to his home in Germany, and is seen below at Lake Ammersee, Bavaria, Germany. Marks daughter India is seen proudly holding the cup that the Land Rover recently won at a local show.
Mark sent us this message with the pictures, to say how happy he is with the Land Rover 2 years down the line . .
“I have had a number of Land Rovers from the Land Rover Centre and not one has disappointed. Every car has been exactly as described and has been worth every penny. Sadly I can not say the same for other Land Rovers that I have recently bought elsewhere that looked like “value for money “. Stick with the Land Rover Centre and avoid cheap imitations, you will be glad you did”.
Saturday 23rd July
Although we have buyers who are happy to travel the length and breadth of the country seeking out the best Series Land Rovers we can find, it is always nice when somebody brings a suitable Land Rover to us to buy. That was the case today when we purchased this very clean and original 1983 Series III 88″. This will be serviced checked over and MOT’d before being offered for sale. Although it is a hard top – potential buyers should remember that a soft top or truck cab conversion is easy for us to do prior to sale.
