He has decided that now is the time to own one for himself !

Thursday 6th October
Very clean original Lightweight Land Rovers are getting difficult to find these days, so we are pleased to have purchased this 1980 Series III “Air Portable” – in original unspoilt condition. This one served with the “Air Defence Regiment Royal Artillery” and 267 Squadron Royal Engineers, before being disposed into civilian life in 1997. This Land Rover has been restored to a good standard by a previous owner, in 2002, including the fitting of a genuine Land Rover military reserve stock chassis. This Land Rover will be offered for sale shortly.
Friday 7th October
The arrival of this Galvanised bulkhead marks the start of some further restoration work for local Land Rover enthusiast John. We fitted a galvansied chassis for him earlier in the year. We will post some pictures of progress next week.
